Born about 1585, Wembury, Devon.
Buried 1 March 1659, Wembury

Samuel was a yeoman farmer, with land holdings in Wembury, Brixton and neighbouring parishes. Much of our earliest information has been gleaned from his will, dated 1651.

Samuel and Susan had the following children:

No record of the marriage found, nor of the burial of any of their children, apart from Nicholas.
